Located in the Belltown, Seattle, Amber has been one of Seattle’s top destinations for evening festivities. Designed as is a mix of northwest style and urban cool, the goal was to create an attractive and sexy destination for the city’s social scene. To encourage interaction, the existing restaurant was significantly demolished and redesigned. The existing bar was removed and the space was opened up to establish a place to see and been seen. Thick slabs of bubinga wood, with the live edge exposed, define the centrally located bar where patrons sit across from each other. The lighting design creates a sense of warm and inviting comfort.
